Runway Snapshot: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia

Five days into Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia and we’ve fallen in love more times than we can count.

Our favourite locals at Acler and C/meo Collective have presented two beautiful collections that left us in awe. Meanwhile, other Australian designers like Thurley and Alice McCall have us dreaming of spring.

Just fill our closets with one of everything and we’ll be happy, happy ladies!

Check out a selection of our favourite runway looks.

Acler

Powerhouses Kathryn Forth and Julia Ritorto have done it again.

We’re talking perfectly draped fabrics to polka dots and layers, we loved it all. Throw in a couple of vibrant fuchsia gowns and WOW. Talk about show-stopping.

As supporters of this incredible brand, we are super proud of the show they put together and can’t wait to see what they’ll do next!

C/meo Collective

Adelaide’s own C/meo Collective pulled out the big ones… Sleeves that is.

Ruched dresses with billowing sleeves are here, and we adore them.

Can we also take a moment to appreciate the gorgeous colour palette? Reds, yellow, mustard and white, with a little (or a lot) of denim. Let’s just say head designer Siham Elmawey knows the way to our hearts.

The designs will be on sale soon, so keep an eye out.

Thurley

The devil is in the detail with this striking collection.

The crisp whites stood out beautifully and the patterns within each fabric were simply stunning.

Alice McCall

The Kismet Collection of Alice McCall was frill-filled and fantastic.

Neutrals, pastels and little bursts of bright colour were all brought to the runway.

Camilla and Marc

The fashion wasn’t the only standout at the Camilla and Marc runway show.

Showcased in a dessert setting, mixed textures and patterns were everything. Picture crocodile embossed leather paired with knitwear, liquid silvers on subtle skin, and leather look with tassels, just to name a few.
