There’s no bigger tick of approval than some of the world’s hottest names wearing your brand, and for our South Australian designers, it’s becoming a regular occurrence.
So, we decided to take a look at a handful of the times a local design has been snapped on a celeb.
Check them out below!
Katy Pery in Acler
She’s one of the biggest pop sensations going around, and on her recent tour of Australia, Katy Perry donned not one but two Acler looks. Below, you see her in the Cullen Dress in Midnight Checker, which will be available for purchase later in 2018. And she’s not the only name who loves the Adelaide brand, headed by duo Julia Ritorto and Kathryn Forth. Just to name a few, Jennifer Hawkins has worn a number of garments over the years, Priyanka Chopra has been spotted in a few pieces of late, and Kourtney Kardashian gave them her approval earlier in the year when she wore the Golding Denim Jacket. Talk about name dropping!
Kourtney Kardashian in C/MEO Collective
It wasn’t the first time a Kardashian has sported an Aussie get-up, and it certainly wasn’t the last. In late 2017, Kourtney Kardashian looked phenomenal in the C/MEO Collective Right Kind of Madness Dress in white. It was the perfect summer vacay outfit.
Jennifer Lopez in Georgy Collection
Can you believe J-Lo has worn the fabulous Georgy Collection three times this year? That’s brand loyalty if we’ve ever seen it. The Artemis dress, the Madeline and the Ares all looked amazing on the 49-year-old actress, singer and dancer.
Georgy has also been seen recently on the cover of Cosmopolitan Australia (worn by Tammy Hembrow) and on Bazaar Vietnam (worn by singer Tiffany Young). Plus, a number of Aussie celebs have expressed their love for the label, including Lana Wilkinson, Rebecca Morse and Olivia Rogers.

Rebel Wilson in Paolo Sebastian
The beautifully crafted gowns of Paolo Sebastian are no stranger to a high-profile celebrity – and we can’t blame them! Most recently, we’ve seen actress Rebel Wilson wearing a custom couture piece in Vogue Australia which had our hearts fluttering.
Magnificent pieces have also been worn by Katy Perry, Kris Jenner, Delta Goodrem, and Sara Bareilles, plus many, many more!
Alessandra Ambrosio in The Wolf Gang
It’s no secret that we all adore the fashion of music festivals around the world. So, seeing Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio wearing the new Soneva Messenger Belt Bag from The Wolf Gang’s latest collection had everyone a little excited! Model Rocky Barnes has also been known to sport a TWG bag.
- The Wolf Gang’s accessories will be sported on the SA Designer Showcase presented by Spendless Shoes runway.
Beyonce in Acler
Queen Bey in this incredible Acler number. Need we say more?
Sonia Kruger in Cinquante
The South Australian jewellery label has been a hit among some of Australia’s biggest media personalities. Earlier in the year, Sonia Kruger wore these gorgeous statement earrings while hosting The Voice Australia, and it wasn’t the only time that season the label’s jewels showed up on the broadcast. Channel 10’s Kate Freebairn and Lisa Wilkinson are also avid owners of the brand.
- Cinquante can be spotted on the runway during the SA Designer Showcase presented by Spendless Shoes.
Lana Wilkinson in LEXI
When one of Australia’s hottest stylists wears your label, you might need to pinch yourself. In July, Lana Wilkinson rocked it in a stunning black number by LEXI. The Florence Dress looked amazing on her!
Belinda Sloane in Varacalli
What does one wear to meet Sir Elton John? A custom Varacalli Couture gown, of course! Doesn’t Bel Sloane look hot as in this black tassled piece?
