The show-stopping moments of AFF18

It’s been a whirlwind five days at the 2018 Adelaide Fashion Festival presented by Mercedes-Benz Adelaide & Unley.

To celebrate, we took a look at some of the show-stopping moments we saw on the runways.

Let us tell you, it was hard to simply pick a few with every runway leaving us in awe of our designers’ talent, but we’ve narrowed it down to the following…

Paolo Sebastian’s The Nutcracker ruffle ball gown. The intricate beading along the bodice and veil, paired with the divine layers of pale blue ruffles… well, we had goosebumps when it walked down the runway.

Face of the AFF18 campaign, Hollie Brown, dressed in Greta Kate’s ‘Sam’ skirt with a black tulle, pearl and lace veil was a sight to behold.

This Couture+Love+Madness gown came moments before the launch of Cristina’s newest label, Tridente. Suffice to say it was a moment we won’t forget.

SLOW Saturday presented by Karl Chehade Dry Cleaning saw a diverse line-up of models walk the runway in sustainable, vintage and re-purposed fashions. The moment that made us burst with joy? When they all partied down the catwalk to close the show. A moment we will never forget.

South Australian label Acler closed the AFF18 runways on Saturday night with a bang. Words cannot even begin to describe it. So we won’t bother!
